SubscribeToday at 10:45PM the House of Reps broke out into chant heard far to frequently during the most recent presidential campaign, “yes we can”. Since it was Obama who managed to secure the last few votes needed to squeeze this through in the late hours it seems only fitting. What more can a person ask for than a verbal promise from the President to make an executive order? As stated by one of the many frothing congressmen who opposed the bill, an executive order promised by the president means nothing. To a non-insider it seem to be just a ploy in order to give the Democrats who “convinced” the President a bargaining chip to be used in their next election; if they’re lucky they may be able to wave this around a bit and not be kicked out by their constituency.
