The Pachyderm Press was the first statewide conservative student publication – the only forum for conservative students in Maine to express their thoughts and opinions free from the censorship common in many campus publications from 2005-2008. Our blog here at the MaineCR.org website has since taken over the role of the conservative publication.
The Pachyderm Press was distributed on Maine college campuses from Fort Kent to Wells, helping to bring balance to campuses where liberal ideology dominates the political discourse. As the official newspaper of the Maine College Republicans, it served to informs readers of the continuing efforts and achievements of Maine College Republicans in promoting conservative values on college campuses and leading grassroots activism on behalf of local, state and national Republican candidates.
