Robert Flores is currently a junior at Bowdoin College working towards a major in English. He became involved with politics through volunteering for local and state campaigns in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas.
As a freshman at Bowdoin, Robert joined the College Republicans in the height of the 2008 election season. He canvassed and phone banked for the Susan Collins and John McCain campaigns. In his second semester at Bowdoin, Robert worked to bring conservative speakers to Bowdoin’s campus. Robert was elected to serve as treasurer of the Bowdoin College Republicans in his sophomore year, and co-chairman in his junior year. He help to organize the 2010 Maine College Republicans State Convention, at which he was elected secretary of the Maine College Republicans.
Robert is looking forward to working with the Maine College Republicans during the upcoming elections, and is confident that College Republicans can work with other conservative organizations in Maine to bring Republican victories to the state and restore Republican leadership across the country.
